Dear Secretariat General (SG),
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Secretariat General (SG)'s handling of my FOI request 'Meeting between Barroso and the European Roundtable of Industrialists'.
The request concerns communication between Commission President Barroso and his cabinet AND the German Federal Government, the French Government
and the European Roundtable of Industrialists concerning a specific meeting on 19. February this year in Paris.
As is obvious, the request is very precise, and does not justify serious delay. However, it has now been several months. When writing requests, I make an effort to respect the need for clarity and precision so as not to over burden the relevant secretariat. However, it seems that even when the request is precise, and should not require a major effort, a delay far beyond what is foreseen in the regulation, can occur, which is disappointing.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: http://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/meeti...
Yours faithfully,
Kenneth Haar
