I am seeking all documents, emails, minutes and or reports detailing that meeting as well as the final assessment of G4S overall performance.

Yours faithfully,

Subject:       Your application for access to documents – Ref GestDem No
2020/0485

Dear Mr. Nielsen,

We refer to your email dated 23/01/2020 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 27/01/2020 under the above-mentioned
reference number.

The description given in your application does not enable us to identify
concrete documents that would correspond to your request.

We therefore invite you, pursuant to Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 regarding public access to documents, to clarify your request.

In your above-mentioned request you state “On 03/05/2016 a cabinet member
of the DG held a meeting with G4S to discuss "recent Brussels attaches and
G4S role therein and G4S performance overall."  and that you are “seeking
all documents, emails, minutes and or reports detailing that meeting as
well as the final assessment of G4S overall performance.”

Please note that there are no “cabinet members of a DG”.

Could you please clarify which person holding the meeting you are
referring to?

Could you please also confirm that you meant “a meeting with G4S to
discuss recent Brussels attacks and G4S role therein and G4S performance
overall”?

If you need assistance in clarifying or specifying your application, you
can contact us by email to: [email address].

In accordance with Article 2, third paragraph of the Implementing Rules to
Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001[1]^^[1], the 15 working days’ time limit for
handling your application will start running when we receive the requested
clarifications.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Human Resources and Security,

This information was taken from a G4S document listed 'meetings with the European Commission', which can be found on the EU's joint transparency register.

The G4S document can be found here: https://ec.europa.eu/transparencyregiste...

According to this document, G4S met with a cabinet member on 03/05/2016. Given the DG in question is Budget & Human Resources, I am assuming it must have been a cabinet member under Kristalina Georgieva.

I am particularly interested in the discussions about "G4S performance overall" and would be grateful for any documents or minutes related to this point.

Yours faithfully,

Nikolaj Nielsen
