Dear Madam,
I hereby acknowledge the receipt of your email of 11/04/2019 registered on 11/04/2019 under the reference number GESTDEM 2019/2277.
In accordance with Regulation 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, you will receive a response to your request within 15 working days: 08/05/2019. If this deadline needs to be extended, you will be informed in due course.
You have lodged your application via the AsktheEU.org website. Please note that this is a private third-party website which has no link with any institution of the European Union. TAXUD ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS
Dear Madam,
We refer to your request dated 11 April 2019 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered on 11 April 2019 under the above mentioned reference number.
The description given in your application does not enable us to identify concrete documents which would correspond to your request, because it is considered too wide scope:
- could you please clarify if you refer to the staff/team of the Commissioner of DG TAXUD? (what do you mean with “any member of your staff/team”) ?
- Could you also clarify which subject you are interested in? DG TAXUD is dealing with subjects in the area of Direct Taxation, VAT and Customs. Is there a particular subject within the remit of DG TAXUD in relation to the organizations mentioned in your request you are interested in?
Furthermore, we would like to clarify that the meetings held by the Commissioner Moscovici and his Cabinet members are publicly available on his webpage:
http://ec.europa.eu/transparencyinitiati...
and also the Director-General’s meetings are publicly available:
http://ec.europa.eu/transparencyinitiati...
We therefore invite you, pursuant to Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to documents, to provide us with more detailed information on the documents which you seek to obtain.
In accordance with Article 2, third paragraph of the Implementing Rules to Regulation 1049/2001[1], the 15 working days time limit for handling your application will start running when we receive the requested clarifications.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Yours faithfully,
TAXUD ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS
Dear Taxation and Customs Union,
Yes, I am refering to the whole staff/ team of DG TAXUD, not only to the Commissioner and cabinet. On the other hand, I am not interested in any particular subject, but want to know if any member of your team meets or comunicates with any bishop, member of a church, religious association, etc.
Yours faithfully,
Josefina Martí
