Dear Communications Networks, Content and Technology,
Thank for your releasing 7 of the 8 documents you identified.
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Meetings Breton cabinet and tech companies'.
I would like to challenge the non-disclosure of Document 8 described as minutes for "High-Level Roundtable on between Commissioner Breton and key industries and associations - 15.06.22" (Ares(2022)4458696). According to the letter, the document contains internal preliminary views on upcoming legislative initiatives. The justifications lacks details as to the upcoming legislation and would deter the Commission from "freely expressing its opinions". Moreover, the disclosure of such document documenting a meeting between Cabinet officials and large technology companies such as Meta Platforms and Vinted could benefit the public interest.
Yours faithfully,
Clothilde Goujard
