Dear Energy,

Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Meetings with Azeris about COP29'.

As no-one appears to have dealt with my request since early June, I'm now requesting an internal review and expecting all documents requested in the initial request to be produced.

Yours faithfully,

Pascoe Sabido

Dear SG ACCES DOCUMENTS,

Thank you for the documents produced.

However, upon inspection, it leads me to believe that there were far more relevant documents that were not produced.

In the first document disclosed, "1 Energy Dialogue between European Commission and Ministry of Energy January 25 2024 revENER redacted", there are numerous references to future meetings between the Commission and the Azeris, for which that have been no documents produced:

- regarding the Southern Gas Corridor and the Energy Platform, "the decision was to hold a separate meeting in coming two weeks and discuss the issue in detail"
- regarding the Global Methane Pledge (which the EU was pushing Azerbaijan to sign and present at COP29), "the decision was to hold a separate meeting in coming two weeks and discuss the issue in detail"
- on COP29, "The decision was to hold a separate meeting on this issue with the MoE and other stakeholders, and as decision making regarding COP29 is consolidated, to pass over this specific dialogue to relevant state authorities."

There should be records of these meetings, for example agendas, minutes, presentations, or preparatory briefings. Please can you also produce these as they form part of the request.

Yours sincerely,

Pascoe Sabido
