Meetings with stakeholders on renewable gas

La demande est partiellement réussie.

Dear Energy,

- The minutes of all lobby meetings held by DG ENER Directorate B in the past year where renewable gas was discussed. This should also include any documents that were distributed at the meeting, and any presentations that were made.

- All correspondence, electronic or otherwise, between lobbyists and by DG ENER Directorate B in the past year where renewable gas was discussed.

My address is:

mentioned reference number, is currently being handled. However, we are
not in a position to complete the handling of your application within the

An extended time limit is needed for thorough analysis as to the

accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 16/04/2018.

Please be informed that no other documents corresponding to your request were identified. As specified in Article 2(3) of Regulation 1049/2001, the right of access as defined in that regulation applies only to existing documents in the possession of the institution.

Dear Energy,

Firstly, thank you for the list of meetings with stakeholders on Renewable Gas, which corresponds to the first part of my request.

However, you then claim that you have no other documents in your possession relating to the topic, which I find extremely hard to believe.

The second part of my request asks for the minutes of said meetings. As it is standard procedure to take notes of meetings, also outlined in the Code of Conduct, I would expect you to be able to share these, as well, as requested, any presentations or documentation that was provided.

The third part of my request relates to "correspondence, electronic or otherwise, between lobbyists and by DG ENER Directorate B in the past year where renewable gas was discussed." As I'm sure the 16 meetings on renewable gas were not the result of cold calling or random encounters, therefore there must be correspondence exchanged to both organise the meetings as well as thank yous or follow ups with documents promised during the meeting.

As a result I am requesting an internal review, in the hope of receiving the remainder of my documents.

Yours faithfully,

Pascoe Sabido
