Dear Mr Sabido,

Please find attached a clarification request concerning your request for
access to Commission documents registered under the above case number
2023/1780.

Kind regards,

DG GROW ACCESS TO DOCUMENTS TEAM

Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,

Thank you for your request for clarification. In your response you ask for "more detailed information on the documents that you seek to obtain."

As stated in my original request, I'm looking for emails, minutes of meetings, policy papers and other correspondence exchanged between DG GROW and lobbyists regarding the EU's reform of the electricity market design.

I realise this is the competency of DG ENER, but assume, as the topic also impacts a lot of work of DG GROW, that officials would be inputting into DG ENER's plans, and also be in contact with DG GROW's own stakeholders on the issue.

I saw that two individuals from DG GROW.I.3 Green and Circular Economy unit spoke at a public event with industry stakeholders on market design and how it relates to strengthening the EU's industrial capacities, and I can only assume that this was not a one-off.

If you would like the request to be narrower, please provide:

- a list of all lobby meetings (including phone calls, conference calls, video conferences etc) held between DG GROW.I (Ecosystems IV: Mobility and Energy Intensive Industries) since 1 January 2022 where the reform of the EU electricity market design was discussed. The list should include the names of the individuals and organisations participating; the date; and any minutes / notes produced.

- any emails, policy papers, or other correspondence related to the reform of the EU electricity market design between DG GROW.I (Ecosystems IV: Mobility and Energy Intensive Industries) and lobbyists during this time period.

Yours faithfully,

Pascoe Sabido
