Madeline O'Brien

Dear Economic and Financial Affairs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

I have requested under the EU FOI the following financial Statements and have been informed that I must Pay a sum of 600 euros for this information to limerick city and country council FOI officer for a financial expert to prepare this requested reports

My Question is simple
It there a article or EU directive that would show exactly what I must pay for and when and what is free under the EU FOI
I understand as a Financial expert that all financial Records must be documented and recorded and therefore why am I expected to pay for standard financial Records related to EU funding and EU grants and EU spends in Limerick City.

Below is a copy of my Original Request

Kind Regards
Madeline O'Brien MSc
Ireland

Can you please provide me with the information for the following years for the amount of EU funding received and expenditures and list of area where this EU Funding is spent
Request For Information for EU Funding provided to Limerick City and county Council in the following years

Article 15 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union states that citizens and residents of the European Union have a right of access to the documents of Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies, whatever their medium.
Access to them is free of charge. The request, filed via an electronic form, does not require any special justification.

My request to Limerick City and Country Council 20/05/2021
1. EU Funding and grants received and EU funding and grants spent and EU funding and grants NOT spent for 2015
2. EU Funding and grants received and EU funding and grants spent and EU funding and grants NOT spent for 2016
