Progress on LSA transition of CSA Sportcruiser to unlimited permanent permit
Dear European Aviation Safety Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
I've seen the earlier request on a similar matter dated February 22 2014. I'm submitting a new request because this transition appears to be proceeding at a very slow pace. Flight conditions for these aircraft expire on 20 Aug 2015.
Request documents relating to the implementation of LSA transition, specifically for the Czech Sport Aircraft Sportcruiser (Pipersport) and for the transition to an unlimited permanent permit. PCM Michal Stepan.
1. Minutes of meetings, letters and records of conversations
between EASA and the Czech national civil aviation authority on the subject of the transition to an unlimited permanent permit and in particular any requests or proposals concerning modifications to the aircraft.
2. Minutes of meetings, letters and records of conversations
between EASA and the UK national civil aviation authority on the subject of the transition to an unlimited permanent permit and in particular any requests or proposals concerning modifications to the aircraft. Also, results of flight tests conducted by the UK CAA driving their requests.
3. Minutes of meetings, letters and records of conversations
between EASA and the manufacturer of the Sportcruiser (Pipersport) aircraft, namely Czech Sport Aircraft (CSA), and in particular any requests or proposals concerning modifications to the aircraft.
4. Internal documents, memos and reports generated by EASA in relation to this subject, in particular the evaluation of different options considered.
Yours faithfully,
Dr Paul A. Langley
