Dear Mr Teffer,

Parliament registered your original request for access to the documents you mention below, on 10 July 2019, under the reference A(2019)8589. The 15 working day time limit to reply expires at the end of this day.

Parliament has identified a number of documents relevant to your application. Some of them originate from other institutions. As a consequence, Parliament is consulting those institutions in application of Article 4(4) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001. While Parliament is likely to be in a position to reply to you shortly, this interinstitutional consultation process has not been completed yet, and Parliament therefore needs to hereby extend the time limit to reply to your application A(2019)8589 by another 15 working days, in line with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001.

Your attention is drawn to the fact that you have lodged your application via the AsktheEU.org website, which is a private website not officially related to the European Parliament. Therefore, the European Parliament cannot be held accountable for any technical issues or problems linked to the use of this system.

Kind regards,

Dear Madam, Sir,

I refer to my access to documents request registered on 10 July 2019 under the reference A(2019)8589. On 31 July you wrote that "Parliament [was] likely to be in a position to reply to [me] shortly", but that it needed to extend the time limit to reply by another 15 working days.

That second time limit to reply expires at the end of this day. Can I therefore expect that the document request will be handled today?

All the best,
Peter

Dear Mr Teffer,

In response to your application A(2019)8589 for access to documents
relating to the Interinstitutional Agreement on a mandatory Transparency
Register, Parliament identified the following documents and determined
that they can be disclosed:

- four draft agendas agendas

- Eight letters and emails

- The most recent four column document, divided in four clusters.

They are attached to this email.

The personal data was blackened out thereof, in line with Regulation (EU)
2018/1725 on the protection of personal data.

Please also note that there are no formal four column documents as the
negotiations were not concluded at political level. The attached tables
are merely working documents reflecting the technical level talks relating
to the period you asked for. The one redacted element in those tables is
an informal suggestion from the Commission, added at technical level, on
page 15 of the CLUSTER 2 table. It was redacted on the ground that its
disclosure would undermine the institution's decision making process, and
in accordance with the first indent of Article 4(3) of Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001.

Kind regards,
