Request for documents
Dear Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
-All correspondence (letters, emails, etc) and minutes of meetings (or any other reports of such meetings) where the EU criteria for the identification of endocrine disrupting chemicals (more info to be found here: https://ec.europa.eu/health/endocrine_di... ) were discussed between officials of the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU and representatives of (one or more of) the following companies/organizations:
-Bayer
-BASF
-Dow Chemical
-DuPont
-DowDuPont (after merger)
-Syngenta
-Monsanto
-European Crop Protection Association (ECPA)
-European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic)
(between June 1st 2016 and August 1st 2018).

Dear Vincent Harmsen,
You have requested a list of all minutes or reports from meetings where the EU criteria for the identification of endocrine disrupting chemicals were discussed between officials of the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU and representatives of (one or more of) the following companies/organizations:

(between June 1st 2016 and August 1st 2018).
I must inform you as the official most closely concerned at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU that no such meetings have taken place. The staff of the Representation has not represented Sweden in these negotiations as they have been conducted at the expert level in a committee under the European Commission. We have also searched our archives but have not found any documents covered by your request. As we do not keep any such documents, we cannot accommodate your request, in accordance with the Swedish Freedom of the Press Act.
Decision
On behalf of The Swedish Permanent Representation to the EU I must inform you that that we do not hold the type of documentation requested.
Information on the right ask for a reassessment
You have the possibility to ask for the Authority’s reassessment of this decision, which is then made by the Head of Mission and is a precondition to the right to appeal against a decision. In case you want to ask for the Authority’s reassessment you should do so in a letter (or e-mail) stating why and what changes of the decision you request.
