RSB meetings with external stakeholders

La demande est partiellement réussie.

Dear Secretariat General of the European Commission,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request the following information:

1.) A list of meetings held or attended by Regulatory Scrutiny Board (RSB) members with external stakeholders from 2015 to 2020. I am aware that meetings of the Chair are reported publicly; as such, this is excluded from the scope of this part of the request.
2.) Agendas and minutes for all RSB meetings with external stakeholders from 2015 to present (including any presentation materials shared at meetings). Where minutes or an agenda do not exist, please indicate this.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if anything is unclear or if the scope of my request needs to be narrowed down.

All the best,
Kathrin Lauber

Please find enclosed the reply to your request for access to documents registered under the above-mentioned reference number.

We would appreciate it if you could confirm the receipt of this e-mail by replying to [email address].

Regulatory Scrutiny Board Secretariat

Dear Regulatory Scrutiny Board Secretariat,

Thank you for your reply to my request for access to documents, registered on 28/06/2022 under reference number GESTDEM 2022/3713.

The reply received on 19/07/2022 contains a list of RSB member meetings for 2020 along with descriptions of these meetings (provided, as I understand it, in the absence of agendas, minutes or materials relating to the meetings). The reply also contained a link to a similar, publicly available, document covering the year 2021.

The reply does not, however, include a list or any information about the meetings of RSB members in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019, as denoted in the original request. Could the Secretariat please clarify the reason for this omission, or enclose the missing documents?

Yours Sincerely,

Kathrin Lauber

Dear Ms. Lauber,

We are sorry if this was not clear from the letter. Only the chair of the Board is required to declare his meetings with external stakeholders. Nevertheless, since 2021, the RSB decided to publish a list of meetings with all the Board members. In addition, it also compiled a list for the year 2020. There are no such lists for the preceding years.

Best regards,

The Regulatory Scrutiny Board Secretariat
