Rules for the implementation of Regulation 1049/2001

La demande est réussie.

Dear European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

The Agency´s own rules for the implementation of Regulation
1049/2001 regarding access to its documents.

I have tried to find this on your website without success.

Yours faithfully,

N. K. Netzell

Dear  N. K. Netzell,

I refer to your request by e mail of 22 August 2013 for "documents which
contain the following information. The Agency's own rules for the
implementation of Regulation 1049/2001 regarding access to its documents."

In responding I should point out that I have understood your reference to
"Agency" as being a reference to OLAF. For avoidance of doubt I would add
that OLAF is part of the European Commission and in that regard, it is
bound by the same rules that all services of the Commission are required
to follow. There are no special rules concerning OLAF and the
implementation of the referenced regulation.

Allow me to draw your attention to the Commission Decision of 5 December
2001 (2001/937/EC,ECSC, Euratom) published in the Official Journal of the
European Communities under reference L345/94 and dated 29.12.2001. This
Decision sets out detailed rules for the application of Regulation (EC) N°
1049/2001. This decision can be found on the website of the European
Commission.

Yours sincerely,

IVANOVA Maya (OLAF) On Behalf Of WASMEIER Martin (OLAF)
