Start-up support to young fishermen.

Article 31 of regulation (EU) No 508/2014 of 15 May 2014 on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund established start-up support to young fishermen.

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request all evaluations on the implementation of this support scheme for young fishermen.

registered on 10/09/2019 under the above- mentioned reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 01/10/2019, as your application
concerns several services which must be consulted.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding

Dear Sir,

We refer to your e-mail dated 09.09.2019 in which you make a request for
access to documents, registered on 10.09.2019 under the above mentioned
reference number.

As regards the concrete request concerning evaluations on the
implementation of Article 31 (Start-up support for young fishermen) of the
EMFF Regulation, the Commission has not carried out any specific
evaluation on this topic, nor received any information that an evaluation
specific to this measure would have been prepared in any Member States.
Nonetheless, France prepared an evaluation of a broader and more
comprehensive scope that has a chapter on this measure. This evaluation is
already made publicly available on the following link:
