Dear Permanent Representation of Netherlands to the EU,

Under Dutch freedom of information rules, I request a list of
meetings with detailed minutes or any other reports of such
meetings between members of the UK Permanent Representation and the
third parties listed below in which the health impacts of sugar
intake, the reformulation and/ or labelling of sugar-sweetened
products and/ or the drop of the sugar quotas in the EU was
discussed.

just a comment of clarification as I just noted that there was a small mistake in my request. Of course, I am not requesting meetings with the Representation of the UK Perm Rep, but with the Representation of the Dutch Perm Rep. Sorry for any confusion this might have caused.

Act, I am extending the time limit for a decision on your request for
information under the Act by four weeks. It is not possible to decide
within the original period of four weeks because more time is necessary to
ensure that the decision is taken with due care.

Government Information (Public Access) Act for a list of meetings with
detailed minutes or any reports of such meetings between 01 November 2014
and 12 November 2015 between members of the Dutch Permanent Representation
and specific third parties (which you have listed) in which the health
impacts of sugar intake, the reformulation and/or labelling of
sugar-sweetened products and/or the drop of sugar quotas in the EU was

A number of documents to which the application relates contain information
obtained from or concerning one or more third parties. On the basis of
section 4:8 of the General Administrative Law Act, we are offering these
parties the opportunity to present their views on the disclosure of these
documents.

For this consultation, and in accordance with section 6 of the Government
Information (Public Access) Act, I am suspending the time limit for a
decision on your request for information under the Act by a maximum of
three weeks.

By mail of 21 December 2015, I informed you that the time limit for
deciding on your application for information dated 12 November 2015 had
been suspended so that the procedure under article 4:8 of the General
Administrative Law Act allowing interested parties to present their views
could be pursued.

That suspension has now ended and you will receive a decision on your
request by no later than 8 January 2016.

responsibility of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The decision with
regard to the documents which fall under the responsibility of the
Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, will be sent to you as soon as
possible.

Minister Health, Welfare and Sport, with regard to the documents which
fall under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and
Sport. The Ministry has also sent a hard copy of this decision through
regular mail.
