Technical assistance to LAF
Dear European External Action Service,
As part of the "Technical Assistance to the Lebanse Armed Forces (LAF) and General Directorate of General Security (GS)" project that ran between 2016 and 2019, EEAS awarded a contract to a group of contractors led by Civipol Conseil and includes Intertech Batinorm SAL.[1]
A second contract was awarded by the European Commission Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) to Intertech Group SARL (contract number FPI/2022/NP/0007) in 2022 for the provision of security equipment as part of the European Union Civilian CSDP Missions.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents containing information relating to the two aforementioned contracts:
1) The Request to Participate Form(s) submitted by Intertech Batinorm SAL (“IBSAL”) and Intertech Group SARL (“IG”)
2) The certificate Security Business License submitted by IBSAL and IG
3) Company registration certificates pertaining to IBSAL and IG
4) Income Statements submitted by IBSAL and IG as part of their tender applications
5) Previous Contracts submitted by IBSAL and IG to prove they have the technical expertise to carry out the contracts
6) Any due diligence and/or background checks conducted by the European Union on IBSAL and IG
Should my request not fall under the competence of EEAS, please inform me of the correct entity to approach, i.e. the relevant directorate or secretariat. There will be no need to forward my request to them.
Yours faithfully,
Anas Ambri
