The EU-China solar price undertaking

Dear Trade (TRADE),

Under the right to access documents in the EU Treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I hereby request access to the following documents

(a) The price undertaking offered by the CCCME as referred to in the Official Journal of the European Union (L325/1)
(b) Additional documents relating to the undertaking’s adjustment in March and April 2014, specifically referring to alterations to the import volume and minimum import price received by the EU from the CCCME and the process used to decide these levels.
(c) Correspondence between DG Trade H4 and the CCCME regarding adjustments to the price undertaking dated after 1st December 2013

To protect the commercial interests of the businesses involved in the document and Union Interest I am happy for the pertinent data to be redacted from the document as long as it does not impair understanding of how the price undertaking and its adjustments function.

We refer to your e-mail dated 09/04/2014 in which you make a request for access to documents, registered with the above mentioned reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 09/05/2014.
An extended time limit is needed as your application is voluminous.
