The use of "intérimaires" in DGs and agencies of the EU Commission

Nous attendons János Ammann de lire la réponse récent et mettre à jour le statut.

Dear Human Resources and Security,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

- a list of DGs and EU agencies that use "intérimaires" to work for the Commission;
- an overview of how many "intérimaires" work in the different DGs and EU agencies, including an overview of what type of work they do;
- an overview of how many "intérimaires" have later received a regular work contract, being directly employed by the DG or EU agency in which they worked as "intérimaires" before;
- how many months "intérimaires" work for DGs or EU agencies as "inérimaires" on average;
- how many "intérimaires" work for DGs or EU agencies as "intérimaires" for more than six months, how many work for more than 12 months, and how many work for more than 18 months in total;
- all contracts that DGs and EU agencies have concluded with temporary work agencies like Randstad or other temporary work agencies for the use of "intérimaires" in DGs and EU agencies;
- In the context of these contracts, especially the fees earned by the temporary work agencies and paid by DGs or EU agencies are of interest.
- all correspondence, memos and internal guidelines that discuss under which conditions "intérimaires" should or can be employed in DGs and EU agencies

Yours faithfully,

János Ammann

Dear Mr Ammann,

We refer to your e-mail  of  11 February 2022 in which you make a request
for access to documents, registered on 25 February 2022 under the above
mentioned reference number Your application is currently being handled.
However, we will not be in a position to complete the handling of your
application within the time limit of 15 working days, which expires on 18

An extended time limit is needed as the application concerns a very large

Therefore, I have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in

I apologise for this delay.

Yours faithfully,

Enrico Maria ARMANI
