Dear Migration and Home Affairs,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting information about the Visa Information System (VIS).

Being the VIS a "central IT system and of a communication infrastructure that links this central system to national systems", I would like to know:

- which states are currently (june 2016) connected to the central system and which,
- which states have already contributed to the database with their national information.

If needed, I provide a personal address:

Daniele Grasso,
Vía de las dos Castillas 33, Building Ática7 - Floor 1 -Pozuelo de Alarcón, 28224, Madrid, Spain

Yours faithfully,

Daniele Grasso
