1979 EU-China Textile Agreements
Dear Council of the European Union,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1979 Agreement with the People's Republic of China on trade in textile products.
The implementation of this Agreement is available (Council Regulation (EEC) no 3061/79 of 20 December 1979 on common rules for imports of certain textile products originating in the People's Republic of China (OJ 31/12/1979 No L 345/1)). Yet, the authentic version is not.

However, I can't help but notice everything is in there except for the initialled version of the Agreement.
Could you please also provide me with the initialled version of the 1979 EU-China textiles agreement?

Dear Mr. Deleu,
sorry for my late reply. You're absolutely right, the agreement is not in the file, which is normal as the final document is published in the OJ, or kept in the Agreement office. I contacted my colleagues and let you know if we have the agreement.
By the way, did you already contact the Historical Archives of the Commission? I would suggest you to, if you have not done it already.
