On behalf of Commissioner Sinkevičius I would like to thank you for your Congratulatory letter
and interest shown to organise a meeting sent to us on 10 December 2019, and for your letter
sent to High Representative and Vice President Borrell on 23 January 2020 (which has been
forwarded to us for Cabinet portfolio responsibilities).
As well, we would like to thank you for your invitation to visit the Brightlands Chemelot Campus
at Geleen, Netherlands. As much as we understand the importance of the visit and would very
much like to accommodate your request, we have to inform you that due to his extremely busy
agenda, he will not be able to arrange it any time soon.
We would like to propose you a slot on 6 April from 11:00-11:45 for a meeting with
Commissioner Sinkevičius.
The meeting will take place in the Berlaymont building of the European Commission.
Could you communicate us the topics you would like to discuss, please.
Please send us a list with the official titles/positions held by the members of your
delegation who are attending the meeting.
We would need the following information, please, so that we can then take care of the
practicalities:
1- Could you please confirm whether you, or your organisation, are registered in the
Transparency Register and provide your Register ID number ? Please note that all participants
need to register their entity/firm in the Transparency register. If you are not registered, you are
kindly invited to register on this website . The meeting can only take place once we have
received the confirmation of your registration.
Please be aware that the European Commission is committed to enhanced transparency.
Therefore, Commissioners and their Cabinets only meet organisations or self-employed
individuals that are registered in the EU's Transparency Register".
2- Please let us know the following information of participants in order to ask for an e-pass:
First name, family name, nationality, date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY), ID number, ID validity date
(DD/MM/YYYY).
