AMISOM's wages
Dear International Cooperation and Development,
I am conducting a study on AMISOM and the way it is funded by the European Union.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. What is the bank the money go to?
2. Where is the bank?
3. Can you provide me with its annual reports?
4. Does the money go to the individual troop contributing countries? Or does it go to the African Union and then to the countries?
5. Has the EU/EC published any analysis of any corruption in this chain?
I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.
Your earliest reply to this matter, within the limits of time stated under the regulation, would be appreciated.
If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me so I can refine it.
