Please note that all three documents are based on a study carried out by external experts. It 
does not reflect the position of the Commission and cannot be quoted as such. In addition, the 
data were collected by external contractors, and they are responsible for the completeness, 
integrity, and accuracy of the subsidy database. 
Please  also  note  that  the  database  reflects  the  fiscal  impact  of  the  identified  subsidy 
measures in  each Member State. Due to  differences in  national policies and accounting 
methods,  these  are  not  fully  comparable  across  Member  States  or  across  different  time 
periods. This is especially important for subsidies based on tax measures, where both the 
taxable base and the effective tax rate could be different between Member States and over 
time.
