Application statistics for Blue Book Traineeship, 2020-2025

We're waiting for Lauren Mee to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear European Personnel Selection Office,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001 and 1367/2006, I request that you electronically send me documents containing the following information:

Application statistics for Administrative Blue Book Traineeship sessions in the past five years, from 2020 to 2025, including:

- the number of pre-selected applicants in the Virtual Blue Book per session and by nationality

- the number of available and offered traineeship positions per session, by units in the respective Directorate-Generals (DG)

- the number of applicants per unit in the respective DGs for each of the three application rounds per session

- the number of successfully placed Trainees per round and by units in the respective DGs, per session

- aggregated data on applicants' profiles per round, including (where available) education level, years of work experience, gender, and other demographic or professional background information

If there are reasons for restricting the disclosure or information regarding certain parts of the same, please redact the relevant sections or forward those document parts for which there are no restrictions to me/provide me with the opportunity to inspect them.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 12/08/2025 under case number EASE 2025/4139.

We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request, partially also because your request was submitted to EPSO
and was transferred to DG HR on 25/08/2025. Therefore we will not be able
to send you the reply within the prescribed time limit expiring on
03/09/2025.

Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
