Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the following document(s):
A "blacklist of private military and security companies which did not meet the standards set by the European Union", as mentioned in several reports (https://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Issues/M... and https://documents-dds-ny.un.org/doc/UNDO...) by the Working Group on the use of mercenaries as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples in 2018, as well as any prior or more recent versions of this document.

I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Blacklist of Private Military & Security Companies'.
On February 8, I filed a request for a "blacklist of private military and security companies which did not meet the standards set by the European Union", as mentioned in several reports (https://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Issues/M... and https://documents-dds-ny.un.org/doc/UNDO...) by the Working Group on the use of mercenaries as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples in 2018, as well as any prior or more recent versions of this document.
I have not received a response to my request since. The deadline was yesterday, March 1.

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to

will be handled within 15 working days. The time-limit will expire on

access to documents, registered on 04 March 2022 under the above mentioned
reference number.
Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expires on 25 March 2022.
An extended time limit is needed as different services must be consulted.
Therefore, we have to extend the time limit with 15 working days in
accordance with Article 7(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding
