Boat Interception Data under Operation Triton from October 11, 2017 to 2018 termination
Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Boat interception data under operation Triton from October 2017 to the 2018 termination. My request is an extension of Riccardo Franceschin's Oct 11, 2017 request: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/boat...
Please provide the information on the same variables/categories and in the same format.
Specifically, the last recorded incident (available in the data set from Franceschini's request) is dated Oct 12, 2017. I am requesting the same data from this point until the termination of Triton in 2018.

Dear PAD,
Thank you for the documents. I have read the response: which references the public security concerns triggered by the release of variables "type of intercepted by" and "type of detected by". I understand the risks associated with releasing information concerning ongoing operations. However, I should clarify that my request is for information regarding the now terminated Operation Triton, not the ongoing Operation Themis.
The final entries for Operation Triton are for Jan 31, 2018. If you could add the variables "type of intercepted by" and "type of detected by" -and associated data- to the existing excel sheet for the incidents that fall under Operation Triton (not Themis), that would be greatly appreciated.
This information has been released for all other years of Operation Triton. I trust that we can work towards finalizing the release of this important data. Without it, the study will be incomplete.

Thanks for your continued efforts. My intention was to clarify my initial request.
My initial request referenced Riccardo Franceschin's Oct 11, 2017 request: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/boat... and asked that information be provided on the same variables/categories and in the same format.
Specifically I requested,
Boat interception data under operation Triton from October 2017 to the 2018 termination" of the operation. The last recorded incident (available in the data set from Franceschini's request) is dated Oct 12, 2017. I am requesting the same data from this point until the termination of Triton in 2018.
I received,
Boat interception data for Triton and for the ongoing operation Themis, and a document detailing the risks associated with providing information for ongoing operations.
In response to this discrepency I intended to clarify that none of what I'm requesting pertains to ongoing operations. I never requested information pertaining to Operation Themis. Instead of filing a confirmatory application, or filing a new request I sought to clarify my initial request. In my clarification response I also intended to call specific attention to two variables, "type of detected by" and "type of intercepted by", that are of paramount significance to my request. My hope was that in doing so it would make it easier for Frontex to add these variables and associated data to the existing document spreadsheet.
Please indicate whether this clarification will produce the necessary information or whether I should file a new request.
