following up our exchange before the summer break, I am pleased to confirm that BDI
and BDI
will travel to Brussels on 25/26 October. They would be
delighted to meet with Commissioner Valean in order to discuss current topics in the area of
transport policy (especially related to the Fit for 55 package).
I would therefore like to enquire whether the Commissioner would be available for a meeting in
Brussels on
25 October in the afternoon or on 26 October (throughout the day).
I am looking forward to hearing from you and remain available for any questions you may have.

BDI
will travel to Brussels on
8 July and would like to meet with
Commissioner Valean to discuss the upcoming EU initiatives in transport
legislation (in particular related to the “Fit for 55” Package). As you may
know, BDI is the Federation of German Industries representing 100.000
companies from 39 sectors of (mainly manufacturing) industry. We have
already been in touch with the previous Commissioners and their
services and would like to continue this exchange.
We would therefore like to inquire whether the Commissioner is
available for a meeting in Brussels on this day. We could also try to set
up a video meeting on another day (preferably before), if a meeting in
person is not possible. And of course – if Ms. Valean is planning a mission
to Berlin in the upcoming months, we would also be delighted to arrange
a meeting there.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and remain available for any
questions you may have.
