Thank you for your correspondence and the attached documents (2 June 2022). Having reviewed the documents, I have a follow-up request which I submit below, invoking the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001.
In the file I received labelled as " Ares 2021 4877600 Email from Huawei to Pres VDL accompanying letter 29 July 2021 Redacted", there is reference to a letter which contains points that Huawei's representatives wished to raise with President von der Leyen. The attached letter was not provided and in the explanation (Ref. Ares(2022)4109169) of the documents I was given access to, there is no specific explanation for its absence. On these grounds, I now request access to the attached letter.
