European Parliament

Our reference: 2025-0161

Dear Ms Rosenblad,

Further to your application submitted under [1]Regulation (EC) No
1049/2001 requesting access to all communication between Member Christel
Schaldemose and several entities, please be kindly informed that
Parliament does not hold any documents related to exchanges, events or
meetings between Members and third parties, if those are not part of a
parliamentary procedure (e.g. in the context of a committee meeting) and
were in any case held without the involvement of Parliament’s
administration. In that respect, please also note that, in such cases,
even if a meeting was held on the Parliament’s premises and/or with using
the Parliament’s technical facilities, Parliament would normally not hold
any documents. Indeed, Parliament’s administration has no access to
Members’ private offices (please see [2]Rule 125(2) of Parliament’s Rules
of Procedure and [3]Article 4 of the Statute for Members of the European
Parliament).

Moreover, as required by [4]Article 7 of Annex I of the Parliament’s Rules
of Procedure, meetings with interest representatives and events organised
by Members, are published on Members’ individual official pages available
via Parliament’s website. From [5]there, by clicking on a particular
member, you can access their individual page and find a relevant list
either on the right side of the page under Home -> Meetings -> Past
meetings for the current parliamentary term, or, for earlier parliamentary
terms, under History of parliamentary service, after choosing the sought
parliamentary term, under the section Meetings.

Should you wish to have access to any documents usually held by Members,
as a general rule, you might also consider contacting the Member’s office
accordingly. For the relevant contact information of the Members that are
available on Parliament’s website, please always check the very bottom of
their individual pages.

On this basis Parliament considers your request handled and the file
closed.

Please do not hesitate to [6]submit a new request should you identify
specific Parliament documents for which you would like to request public
access.

Kind regards,
