Complaint by MailDB or KVGO on Dutch 'Yes' Mail sticker (2021)
Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
On 24. September 2021, the Dutch Hoge Raad found that the Amsterdam council was legally allowed to introduce an opt-in system for junk mail. The mail delivery companies MailDB and KVGO stated that they are "considering next steps, including a complaint to the European Commission because the ruling does not address crucial arguments based on the aforementioned European law. " (please find the link here: https://kvgo.nl/uitspraak-hoge-raad-inza...)
1. If it exists, please send me the complaint by MailDB or KVGO on the Yes-Sticker.
2. Please send me all correspondence, including attachments (i.e. any emails, mail correspondence or telephone call notes) between the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, including any Cabinet Members and/or officials, and MailDB or KVGO discussing the introduction of the Dutch Yes-sticker.
Yours faithfully,

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time

public access to documents. The new time limit expires on 04/04/2023.
