Dear Migration and Home Affairs,
I am filing the following confirmatory application with regards to my access to documents request 'Correspondance etc related to meeting on 04/09/2025 with Thorn'.
I filed the request on October 24, 2025 and it has the case number EASE 2025/5488.
Under all circumstances, by law, I should have received a reply to my request long ago, and I hereby wish to complain about the lack of response.
I have twice been notified that the request could not be handled within the set timelimit. But now the latest time limit - December 8, 2025 - has been surpassed by almost a month without me receiving any new notice.
I believe that my request is a very specific and very simple one which should have been accomodated immediately. The delay might diminish the relevance of the documents, as they are possibly related to decisions that have already been made in the EU.
In order to live up to the whole idea of freedom of information, I urge you to fulfill my request as soon as possible.
Please pass this on to the person who reviews confirmatory applications.
A full history of my request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.asktheeu.org/request/corresp...
Yours faithfully,
Astrid Fischer.
