Dear Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. A list of all meetings/ discussions that have taken place since January 1st 2020 between Commissioner Thierry Breton, and/or members of his cabinet and/or officials from DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, and representatives of Fuels Europe.
2. Any records, minutes or notes of these meetings/discussions.
3. Any briefings prepared for these meetings.
4. All correspondence exchanged since January 1st 2020 (including SMS & any other type of messages processed through phone apps - eg., WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram etc, recorded voice messages, emails, letters and attached documents) between Commissioner Thierry Breton, and/or members of his cabinet and/or officials from DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, and representatives of Fuels Europe.
5.All documents—including but not limited to correspondence, emails, minutes, notes (hand written or electronic), audio or video recordings, verbatim reports, operational conclusions, lines to take, briefings, and presentations—related to the meetings held on 02/05/2022 and 18/02/2022 between between Joan Canton and Fuels Europe.
In consideration of the environment I would prefer to receive documents electronically.

I would like to make clear I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis. At no point should the Commission's search for—or deliberations concerning—certain documents delay the production of others that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.

Your application is currently being handled. However, we will not be in a
position to complete the handling of your application within the time
limit of 15 working days, which expired yesterday, on 20/03/2023.
An extended time limit is needed as in order to retrieve the documents
requested, large files have to be examined.
