Decision on Amazon lobby badges
Dear European Parliament,
In February 2024, the College of Quaestors triggered rule 123 of the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament authorizing Secretary General Alessandro Chiocchetti to withdraw the long-term access badges of the interest representatives of Amazon.
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents held by the Secretary General which contain information related to the withdrawal of Amazon's lobbying badges.
In particular, I am looking for the following documents:
- All documents which contain information on the implementation of rule 123 of the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament by the Secretary General's office with regard to Amazon.
- All correspondence between the Secretary General's office and Amazon on the withdrawal of Amazon's lobbying badges.
- All correspondence between the College of Quaestors and the General Secretary's office related to the decision.
Yours faithfully,
Bram Vranken
