DG SANCO docs on health in GDPR proposal to DG JUST

The request was successful.

Dear Madam, Sir,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All documents DG JUST received from DG SANCO which contain suggestions, input, interservice consultation etc, about the topic "processing of data concerning health" in the European Commission proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation).

The proposal was published by the Commission on 25 January 2012, so the period in which to find these documents is before that date. According to the impact assessment, the "evaluation and impact assessment process for the review of the personal data protection regulatory framework started with a general public consultation phase in May 2009", and the "inter-service impact assessment steering group was convened for the first time on 3 March 2010 and met again on 27 May 2010, 9 March 2011 and 14 July 2011".

If you require additional clarification regarding my request, do not hesitate to contact me.

Please note I prefer to receive the documents and any communication in digital format, and not by physical mail. Let's protect the environment.

Sincerely,
Peter Teffer
