Documents for meetin with MOL Group

Brigitte Wear made this access to documents request to Trade Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Trade,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I write to request information around meetings held between members of the Commission and Hungarian oil and gas company MOL Group (also known as MOL Plc.).

In particular, I would be grateful to receive all correspondence (including SMS & any other type of messages processed through phone apps, e.g. WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram etc; recorded voice messages; emails, letters and attached documents), meeting notes, minutes, and agendas relating to the following meeting:

– January 30th, 2025, meeting in Brussels between representatives of MOL Group and Cabinet of Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič on the subject of EU Trade and Economic Security

I would like to receive this information electronically. I prefer you produce the documents on a rolling basis. At no point should the Commission’s search for—or deliberations concerning—certain documents delay the production of others that the Commission has already retrieved and elected to produce.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. I would also expect the partial release of documents in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6. I reserve the right to appeal.

My address is:
DeSmog UK
5 Brayford Square
London, E1 0SG

Please confirm having received this application. I look forward to your reply within 15 business days, according to the regulation cited above.

With thanks,
Brigitte Wear
