Documents regarding Karmenu Vella and the Birds Directive

Dear Secretariat General (SG),

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

1. On the topic of the birds directive and habitat directive, all correspondence between Karmenu Vella and DG Environment.

2. All correspondence (including emails), meetings (including detailed minutes on said meetings) between DG Environment and Jean Claude-Junker regarding Karmenu Vella.

3. All correspondence (including emails), meetings (including detailed minutes on said meetings) between DG Environment and Secretariat General regarding Karmenu Vella.

3b. From the time beginning January 1st 2014, all documents held by the European Commission (including minutes/memos/notes/reports for internal use) and all correspondence relating to Inter-Service meetings on the Revision of the birds directive to incorporate derogations on hunting laws from member states.

Should my request be denied wholly or partially, please explain the denial or all deletions referring to specific exemptions in the regulation. Also I expect the partial release of documents, in case of partial exemption according to article 4.6.
