EDPS Letters to Parliament on Europol's Procedural Violations

Dear European Parliament,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the following documents:

- the letters of the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) to the representative of the European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and the Europol Joint Parliamentary Scrutiny Group with regards to Europol's Management Board Decisions on the conditions related to the processing of personal data on the basis of Articles 18(6), 18(6a), 18a and 18(2) of the amended Europol Regulation, dated 19 July 2022 and 12 September 2022;
- the letter of the representative of Europol's Management Board addressed to the European Parliament dated 15 September 2022;
- any other formal exchange between Europol and the European Parliament's entities and between the EDPS and the European Parliament's entities regarding Europol's Management Board Decisions on the conditions related to the processing of personal data on the basis of Articles 18(6), 18(6a), 18a and 18(2) of the amended Europol Regulation.
