EU employees
Dear European Court of Auditors,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
Number of employees per EU institution, agency or any kind of administration categorised by:
-Range/Level
-EU institution
-Age
-Nationality
-Start of the contract (date)
-End of the contract (date), if applicable
If there is historical data available, I ask for the registers in different years or periods.
If any of the data is not available or you have extra data regarding this request, I ask for the information as you have it in your databases in order to avoid any extra work.
I would prefer to receive the information in electronic form. This is a right under Regulation 1049/2001 if the information exists in that format.
Yours faithfully,
Adrián
Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting the European Court of Auditors (ECA) and the
interest you show in our work.
Each EU institution and body is responsible for its human resources policy
and reports on it to the EU's budgetary authority, i.e. the European
Parliament and the Council, in the discharge procedure. We therefore
suggest that you contact the other EU institutions individually and
consult the discharge documents and any other documentation available.
The European Court of Auditors (ECA) does not have information on the
human resources policy of other institutions and bodies, other than the
information it uses for its audits. The ECA presents the results of its
audits in its special reports and other outputs published on its website:
[1]eca.europa.eu (see, for example, the specific annual reports on [2]EU
agencies and other bodies).
The ECA reports on its human resources policy – including its financing -
and staff profile (e.g. age, gender, level of responsibility) in its
annual activity reports. The activity reports can be found on [3]ECA
website. The latest activity report available is the [4]Activity Report
2016, which was published on 24.4.2017 (see the section dedicated to ‘Our
staff’).
Information on the start and end dates of individual contracts is
considered to be personal data and as such is protected by the relevant
confidentiality rules (i.e. Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000).
Kind regards,

Hi Support,
it wpi;d make it easier if you were to add the link to information on payroll which gives the figures per each year the EU spends on payroll for its staff.
Poor
The activity reports can be found on [3]ECA
website. The latest activity report available is the [4]Activity Report
2016, which was published on 24.4.2017 (see the section dedicated to ‘Our
staff’).
I would add the link into the FOI to make it easier to find each year
Payroll for all EU Staff per year - URL link by year
Referring to a vague document is poor communication and service on the FOI part.
The ECA reports on its human resources policy – including its financing -
and staff profile (e.g. age, gender, level of responsibility) in its
annual activity reports. The activity reports can be found on [3]ECA
website. The latest activity report available is the [4]Activity Report
