Webmeeting between the VP Sefcovic and CEOs of EBA

Dear Colleagues, 
 
We  have  just  been  informed  by  EIT  KIC  Innoenergy  that  you  would  soon  receive  an  invitation  to  a 
webmeeting between Vice-President Šefčovič and 12 CEOs of the European Battery Alliance (EBA) that
will be organised next week on Tuesday 19 May at 14:00 to 15:30 by EIT KIC Innoenergy. 
The objective of the meeting is for the Vice-President to discuss with the industry (i) the state of play of 
EBA projects / ongoing investments, (ii) the implications of the Covid-19 crisis on the resilience of global 
battery  value  chain,  (iii)  the  commitments  of  the  industry  throughout  the  value  chain  (including  raw 
materials) and its partnership with public authorities at this critical juncture in line with the objectives of 
the European Green Deal, the Industrial Policy Strategy, and the new Circular Economy Action Plan.  
 
We  hope  that  you  will  be  able  to  accept  the  invitation  and  join  the  webmeeting.  Please  note  that  this 
invitation  is  personal  (1  person  from  your  cab),  as  we  aim  for  VP  Šefčovič  and  VP  McDowell  (EIB)  to 
interact directly with a very limited number of high-level industry representatives.
