Exchanges between Justice and Consumers & the EPPO on Greece, rule of law and law compatibility
Dear Justice and Consumers,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
All documentation regarding exchanges (including but not limited to letters, email correspondence, text messages, background papers, memos, basis documents, reports and minutes/notes), between the European Public Prosecutor (EPPO) and the Head of DG Justice, Mr. Didier Reynders, in the period between January 1, 2024 and January 10, 2026, which involve Greece and the rule of law, and compatibility of national and European law in the matter of investigating and prosecuting all criminal offences which damage the Union budget.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Ioanna Louloudi

Dear Madam,
We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 12 January 2026 under case number EASE 2026/0193.
We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 2 February 2026 since, in order to
retrieve the documents requested, large files have to be examined and part
of the documents requested originate from third parties, which have to be
consulted.
Therefore, in line with Article 7(3) of [1]Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001,
we need to extend this time limit by 15 additional working days. The new
time limit expires on 23 February 2026.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Kind regards,
JUST.A4
