Dear Mr. Gilpin,

We are answering your request form the Historical Archives of the European
Parliament in Luxembourg. To contact us directly, please use the email
[1][email address]

We regret to inform you that the Historical Archives of the EP have not
conserved the documents from the Office of President Alain Poher
(1966-1969) Documents by Office of Simone Veil, from 1979 onwards are the
first coherent group of documents from an Office of a President of the EP
received by the Archives.

We have conserved some official written exchanges in and out from
Presidents of the EP before 1979 but after verifying the groups there are
no traces of exchanges with Harold Wilson.

We have tried just in case in the fond of Secretary general Hans Nord
(1961-1979) but are no traces conserved of exchanges with national
governments.

We cannot, unfortunately, offer you more information on this.

Best regards,

José Andrés
