Dear Secretariat

Please find attached the 9 PowerPoint slides I’d like to show on Wednesday.

I apologise for the delay on behalf of Outlook that still doesn’t perform ‘comme il faut’!

I would also appreciate if our attached Dossier of Evidence could be emailed to all Committee members. If that takes place only after the meeting, that would be fine. The original submission plus my previous text is sufficient preparation for the meeting.

With many thanks for everything you’re doing,

Sabine

Dear Ms Kurjo McNeill

We have taken note of your request to attend the meeting of the Committee on Petitions of 19.03.2014, during which your petition is scheduled for discussion at 09:15. We remind you that the right to speak is at the discretion of the Chairman and that if you are so allowed, your presentation should not be longer than five minutes. Please advise the secretariat as soon as possible if you wish to make use of a power-point presentation or other form of image projection. It would be helpful if you could provide in advance the wording of your statement to the Committee secretariat for distribution to the interpreters.

The meeting will take place in the Paul Henri Spaak building of the European Parliament (rue Wiertz 60 1047 Brussels), in room PHS P5B001. You will be met by our staff at 08:45 at the Altiero Spinelli Entrance on Agora Simone Veil (pedestrian area) which is located adjacent to Place du Luxembourg (see map enclosed). We kindly request you to be there on time.

The Committee on Petitions may reimburse petitioners' expenses for travel and a daily allowance (please refer to the attached document for the current rules and rates). Only petitioners are eligible for reimbursement of expenses. If you would like to avail yourself of this possibility, please send - after the meeting and by registered post - the attached form completed with the original flight tickets and boarding passes or train tickets. Failure to present original tickets and boarding passes - for whatever reason - will make it impossible to reimburse expenses.

Please, the day of the meeting don't forget to bring with you your identity document (passport, driver's licence, ID card etc.) which you will be asked to show when collecting your access badge to the Parliament's buildings.

Yours sincerely,

The Secretariat

Committee on Petitions
