Frontex-Commission interactions
Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting the following documents:
For the period from 1 June 2018 to date:
- All correspondence – including, but not limited to, letters, e-mails, and any attachments – exchanged between Frontex representatives and European Commission officials regarding, related to, or mentioning the concepts of controlled centres in the EU and regional disembarkation arrangements with third countries. [1]
- All documents – including, but not limited to, briefings, notes, papers, non-papers, or reports – exchanged between Frontex representatives and European Commission officials regarding, related to, or mentioning the concepts of controlled centres in the EU and regional disembarkation arrangements with third countries.
- A list of all meetings held between Frontex representatives and European Commission officials where the concepts of controlled centres in the EU and regional disembarkation arrangements with third countries were discussed.
and, finally, for each of these meeting(s):
- Any record of the aforementioned meeting(s). This may include, but not necessarily limited to, minutes of the meeting(s), verbatim reports of the meeting(s), transcripts etc, that would provide a record of the proceedings of the meetings(s).
