Frontex internal documents on illegal migrants smuggling by airplane
Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:
1. Internal Frontex document dated June 2022, which mentions that the private Syrian Cham Wings airline there is accused of having had a role in smuggling migrants from Bangladesh to Libya via Damascus.
2. Any other internal Frontex issued 2022 and 2023 document that mentions the involvement of private airline companies (such as Cham Wings, Air Libya or Air Mediterranean) in smuggling migrants from Syria/Egypt or Greece to Libya.
