Alexander Fanta made this access to documents request to Secretariat General of the European Commission as part of a batch sent to 4 authorities Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Transparency Unit,

under Regulation 1049/2001, I would like to request all documents containing guidelines for officials on how to deal with journalists and news media. This is meant to include any communication (e-mails, notes to staff, etc.) to staff members regarding the leaking of documents (see for example: https://www.asktheeu.org/en/request/1616...) or FAQs which mention terms such as "press", "journalists" or "news media". My request shall include any such document dating from the past decade, so from November 1, 2013 onwards.

Yours faithfully,

Alexander Fanta
