handling of the Andrianna migrant boat disaster

Antoine Hasday made this access to documents request to European Border and Coast Guard Agency Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, European Border and Coast Guard Agency should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear European Border and Coast Guard Agency,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information:

All documentation (including but not limited to reports, emails, radio and phone call transcripts, instant messages, attendance lists, agendas, background papers, transcripts, recordings, satellite and aerial surveillance reports, minutes/notes) relating to Frontex's handling of the Andrianna migrant boat entering EU waters, before, during and after the boat capsized on 14 June.

This should include all exchanges between Frontex and Greek, Libyan, Egyptian and other coast guards relating to the incident (e-mails, radio and phone call transcripts, instant messages, transcripts of exchanges through other communication means, and meeting minutes/notes/transcripts).

I would prefer you to produce the documents on a rolling basis, rather than waiting until the full response is ready, and I would be pleased to receive an initial list of all documents as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,
