Hosting external events in Commission premises

Human Resources and Security has replied saying you have to contact another public body.

Dear Human Resources and Security,

Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting a list of all events hosted in Commission premises in Brussels during 2015, which were organised by or with third parties. This list would ideally contain the date, organising party/ parties, topic of event, Commission venue, and any other information available. This is an example of the kind of event I am referring to: 3/12/2015 Business Europe Advisory and Support Group at the Berlaymont building.

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann

Dear Human Resources and Security,

Thanks for your reply. I understand that you say that there is no list corresponding to the one I requested. However, it is also clear that the Commission does host such events. Please can you advise how to best obtain the information requested? Is this an issue which is decided at an individual DG level on a case by case basis, or is there an oversight body which handles such requests? How does the Commission room booking service work? I would very much appreciate your guidance.

Thanks in advance; yours faithfully,

Vicky Cann
