Dear Sir,
We are writing concerning your request for access to Commission documents
registered on 2 July 2026 under case number EASE 2026/3351.
We are currently working on your request. However, we have not yet been
able to gather all the elements necessary to carry out a full analysis of
your request. We will not be able to send you the reply within the
prescribed time limit expiring on 24 July 2026.
The reason for this delay is that the administrative process of preparing
the reply takes longer during the summer period, due to the unavailability

I wish to make a confirmatory application in regard to my request for the 'Hungarian spies' report.
I note that my initial request for the report was denied citing the exception for the protection of public security. Yet, not substantive explanation for invoking the exception was given. I therefore believe the exception was incorrectly applied. The Commission must give a concrete and non-hypothetical explanation, which it has not.
I kindly ask to provide the document in full.
