Dear Daniela Musina,

Thank you for your interest in the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) and your public access to documents request.

This is a large request as it consists of many documents. CEPOL needs to identify the documents and then we need to examine if the request includes material that is exempted from public access.

CEPOL has registered this request today and it will be answered within 15 working days by 15 February 2024.

We remain at your disposal for any further clarification you may need.

Kind regards,

Dear Daniela Musina,

We wish to inform you that we have completed the initial identification process for documents potentially falling within the scope of your Public Access to Documents (PAD) request. Our review has revealed a huge number of files (about 583 files to review of which about 70 with a third-party owner that require consultation with the third-party) requiring further, and thorough examination. In light of this, we kindly request your cooperation in narrowing down the scope of the request.

Moreover, we are pleased to offer to convene an online meeting to facilitate a clearer understanding of the specific documents you are seeking.

Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

Sincerely,

Dear Judit Pasztor,

Many thanks for your kind reply. Could it be possible to break my request down in 2 or 3 separate requests, so that you will have more time to process it and to review the relevant files?

Alternatively, I would be happy to discuss how to further narrow it down if you have suggestions on that.

Feel free to contact me over my email address: [email address]

Yours sincerely,

Daniela Musina
