Information related to the content of the Summary Report on the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed ‘Section Phytopharmaceuticals - Legislation’ held on October 2 and 3, 2024
Dear Health and Food Safety Directorate General,
Under the right of access to documents in the EU treaties, as developed in Regulation 1049/2001, I am requesting documents which contain the following information mentioned in the Summary Report of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed ‘Section Phytopharmaceuticals - Legislation’ meeting held on October 2 and 3, 2024 referenced sante.g.3(2024)9752938 (hereinafter “the summary report”):
- the draft amendments related to the definition of biocontrol mentioned in paragraph A.13 of the summary report ;
- the "note from the industry" mentioned in the third subparagraph of paragraph A.13 of the summary report ;
- all documents and information, including communications, letters, email correspondence, preparatory documents, briefings, reports, agendas and minutes of meetings and any other report of such meetings, notes, logs of phone calls exchanged between the European Commission and the industry about the "note from the industry" and the draft amendments mentioned above.
It should be noted that, by “exchanged between the European Commission and the industry”, I am referring to the companies designated by the term “industry” in paragraph A.13 of the summary report.
To the extent possible, I prefer documents in electronic format. If any part of the requested documentation is subject to exemptions under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, please provide detailed reasons for any redactions or withholdings. I also request a list of all existing documents, including those withheld.
